Mike James?

Seriously, do we have to consider every single player that has a good streak going on? If BC had the realgm mindset Terrance Kinsey and Mardy Collins would be our starting backcourt.

Good thinking.
This is a perfect time to try to pull wool over Babcock and McHale's eyes. Just when McCants is playing well. They'll never see what hit them.

I was going to mention Kinsey, too. Good call.
One thing is for sure though, one of Green, McCants, Gomes and Foye won't be on their roster next season. I think they'll all be RFA.

Yes I will, if it pains you that much...Each time an unknown has a 20-30 pt game I will post it.

Asking if Colangelo could fleece Babcock/McHale is like asking if Bobby Fisher could beat a post-lobotomy Corky Thatcher at Chess.

I always liked Gomes.
Green is a UFA after this season, McCants - isn't he an RFA, and then Foye has at least 1 more season + 1 option.
McCants could always score, and has a lot of talent. But injury problems and somewhat questionable attitude/demeanor have stood in the way. And he's still a short scoring guard, even if he has long arms.

he's hot right now but he is not the answer at the 2.

You mean McCants needed two and a half seasons to become attractive to RealGMers? Gawd. Who knows. Maybe we ought to play our own second and third year players more.

I fairness to Rashad he's been injured a lot.

I think that McCants is more like a Jamal Crawford clone. A low efficiency chucker on a bad team who doesn't care about doing much else.

Good numbers. Does he still have character issues like they were saying in the 05 draft or was that a lie?
We could use his killer instinct and toughness.

I wouldn't call him a low efficiency chucker, because his percentages aren't bad for a guy that takes so many three pointers. But McCants is a scorer, and nothing else...poor defender, poor rebounding/assist numbers, and he fouls and turns the ball over at a remarkable rate for a scoring guard.
Unless his game changes drastically, he's probably destined to be a 6th or 7th man, instant offense type of guy.

^^ Yeah hes been at the top of the "Eddy Curry" Fantasy index all year.
Averages more turnovers than rebounds, assists and steals . . .COMBINED

That is patently untrue, and so you have not seen him play. McCants is an excellent defender, strong and quick with long arms and good instincts on the perimeter. Have you ever even seen him play?

McCants would actually be a good fit on the Raptors, I'm not sure that the Raptors have anything the T'Wolves would want that the Raptors themselves could afford to give up...

I'll admit to having seen him play only three or four times this season, but he was pretty thoroughly abused in those games. I'll defer to your knowledge if you've watched more Wolves games, though.

Have you ever seen the Wolves fans hating on his game? Until the last few games, he was frequently their biggest target of criticism. After all, if all of these guys are playing so well/worth so much, how can Minnesota be a four-win team?
