Next year should be the greatest and/or most terrifying in RealGM history. And Messiah will miss it all.

we dont even know if hes good enough to replace either tj or calderon. what we do know is that he is much better than dmart and dixon.

MLSE can starting ordering those NBA rings. The steal of the 2005 draft is on his way.

Probably not all that surprising to many.
The questions is, how big will his role be and would he warrant moving either Calderon before the deadline or T.J., more likely in the offseason.

I honestly can't wait. Dixon/Martin/Graham will likely be gone. Our depth charts will look a bit better
TJ/Calderon/Ukic
Parker/Delfino/Ukic
Kapono/Moon/?
Bosh/Garbojosa/Humps
Bargs/Rasho/Baston

Moving Jose this year seems to be out of the question. I think we will have to wait first for TJ to get healthy. Then bring Roko over and evaluate his play at the NBA level. Then perhaps between the start of next year and that years trading deadline, possibly move TJ or Jose if Roko pans out.
Plus TJ is hard to move this year due to BYC and injuries obviously.

Finally. I think he will play well enough that if we get a great offer for either Tj or Jose we would take it.

I expect to be more moves by the beginning of next season if we don't improve over last year's performance.

I think if Jose goes it will be in a S&T this summer. With a lot of capped out teams, and a big free agent class, the Raps should be able to either keep him cheaply, or get someone to overpay for him in a S&T. Obviously assuming TJ's healthy.

Good year for him in Rome, so far. I like Roko, but TJ and Jose are another level. In Toronto, i believe, Ukic could replace one of this two for 10/15 minutes, no more. (In a few days Roko should play with Pape Sow, i hope because his presence under the boards, here in Italy).

wow this board is messed up...throughout this season every player on this team has been named a bust at least once but as soon as Roko Ukic is expected to come over everyone is expecting this guy to take over the reigns as starting PG.

At second glance, moving either anytime soon would probably be a tad premature.
But if the plan is to bring over Ukic, BC must have some sense of a direction of where he wants to go with the pg spot. With a decision on Calderon coming by the offseason (contractually that is), it's going to get pretty interesting.

You are exaggerating people's obvious exaggerations and coming up with a conclusion that makes you look like an exaggerating exaggerator.

Way to go Babcock!

Roko could only come here as a third string PG. Then over time, if it make sense to move one of TJ or Jose, BC would do it. Roko would need to prove he could even play in the NBA. And as we can see, with Juan Dixon playing point for us this year, you can always use third string depth at all positions.

I look forward to Roko putting up 5 points in 2 minutes, and the resulting efficiency arguments over who is better, Ford, Calderon or Roko. We can even make up flags and mottos to support our point guard "team".

Forderonic?

I doubt they would think about trading Jose or TJ to make room for an unknown like Ukic. He'd probably start as a 3rd string PG/SG and work his way from there.
