Dunk Contest participants?

Wiretap says Nate Robinson hasn't got invite yet:

The league usually tries to bring in new faces every so often which might explain why they have yet to ask him to participate.

This suggests to me that the participants should have been reached by now, which leads to my question. Has Moon been asked to participate yet?

Can BC pull a few strings here and there to get Moon in?

this was in The Sun today:

Jamario Moon has been in enough dunk contests that he won't be crushed if he doesn't get asked to take part in the dunk-off at the NBA all-star game next month.

But Moon will be ready if he is invited.

Same goes for the annual rookie/sophomore game, a good possibility for the only first-year player on the Raptors. Moon has worked his way into a starting spot at small forward.

"A lot of people have been asking me if I'm going to play in the rookie game, but I don't even know who makes that decision so I'm going to just continue to do what I'm doing and if I go it will be great," Moon said. "It will be a wonderful story to tell my kids but if not, I still have a wonderful story to tell my kids."

Moon said if the opportunity comes to show off his best dunks, he won't disappoint.

"I've got a few up my sleeve," Moon said. "I just want to do something that is good. If I do something that someone has done before, that's fine, as long as I do it better. Just add a different twist to it. There really aren't that many dunks left (that haven't been done). You just have to take a dunk and add your own little twist to it."

Moon's most memorable dunk contest was a high school one between himself and Gerald Wallace, now with the Charlotte Bobcats.

"I'll come up with something," Moon said.

"But if I think of something (original) I won't be telling anyone about it before the contest."

You don't want him in the rookie/sophmore game cause he'll show all his dunks.

Nate's not invited? Good! I might watch it again.

Why would Nate be upset, anyway? How many times does he think the league will fix the contest for him?

Come on. I heard he is going to bring the rim up to a whopping 4'5" feet this year if he gets invited. His win had to go down as one of the biggest shams I have seen.

Carter can't go anymore, due to the 3 year rule. Or should i say, doesnt want to go anymore. Im sure the league would uplift the rule if VC wanted in.

Moon, Rudy Gay,Jeff Green, Gerald Green. I'm not sure who else should be in it. But I think the 4 I listed above should be good candidates for this years dunk contest.

Jeff Green??, sure he has a couple of nice dunks so far but he's not a high flyer like the rest of those guys

who cares, the NBA has screwed up the dunk contest ever since Vince won it. Remember the wheel? lol That was gawd awful. Actually last years was above average and the year before was decent as well. I'll never get over them screwing over JR Smith's around the back dunk. That was brilliant.
