he acts like the worlds biggest Raps fan, but if he really thought the team was any good he wouldn't hard sell so much and feel he has to belittle the opposition to make the team look good, in my opinion Mr. Swirsky.

Bush League.

Isn't this the equivalent of broadcasting blasphemy? :nonono:

And Leo's guilty too, he knew he'd break it out. :noway:

I'm convinced Leo doesn't like Chuck that much, and baits him into these things so he'll get some backlash from fans.

I seriously hope we lose now just to show Chuck what an ass he is.

I hope he throws the salami and cheese into mid court during the game

Chuck is a wingnut but many of us are thinking the exact same thing. This is without a doubt a Raptor win!

And honestly, watching other teams broadcasts, I have seen announcers more homerish than Chuck.

But, I haven't seen any that diss the other teams so much and so often (everything from questioning what they are doing on offence several times a game, to questioning their heart, to doing things like guaranteeing a win before tip-off)

For a guy that gets his panties in a knot everytime anyone does anything at all that could be interpreted as classless towards the raps, he sure does a lot of borderline classless things....imo of course.

Imagine what Chuck would say in his blog if an opposing player guaranteed a win against the Raptors.

Does anyone else find that Leo always asking Chuck to pull out his salami and cheese disturbingly homoerotic?

^^true, but more like a big bully tricking the little slow guy to pull it out in front of the camera knowing he will. IMO of course.

I agree.. Leo and Chuck do have some homosexual tension in some of their ingame conversations.. very disturbing..

But the best and most disgusting line I have ever heard on sports broadcasts was during last night's Milwaukee vs Philadelphia game, where the Milwaukee announcers were discussing Yi's other talents. One of them mentioned that during the milwaukee Bucks' players' night out, he realized a few days ago that Yi is an awesome pool player.. at this the other announcer said, "Just imagine how big his stick would be.. "... Sad but true..

Bingo.

There are bigger homers, but none go out of their way to attack the opposition like Chuck.

He's just so...fake.

In my opinion...

I can't believe people are taking this so seriously. It was for laughs and chuckles. And that's all really the salami and cheese is. Man there's some crazy mofo's on this board. Chill a little guys, geeze
