So playing all the elite teams like Phoenix (twice), Boston, Detroit, San Antonio, Dallas, Houston (twice), Cleveland, Portland and New Orleans, many of them on the road, and still going .500 over that period is **** now?

So if we had TJ, and then he in turn had a better back-up than Juan Dixon, we would have gone what? 13-5? 14-4? Rolled through those slugs to the tune of 17-1?!?

Not that people's expectations are out of whack or anything....

TJ fanboys don't realize that if Calderon had a backup that is as good as the one TJ usually has, that record might have even been better. And as you pointed out, given the level of competition, it is not all that bad at all. All Jose has done over that stretch is put up All-Star type numbers while running the team efficiently and taking care of the ball. That said, this team is better with TJ wearing his uniform instead of a suit. Much better.

A mere respite.

Back to the Bargs rebounding threads.

We need a Bargs rebounding against division thread / Bargs rebounding against conference thread / Bargs rebounding in night games thread / Bargs rebounding on weekends thread / Bargs rebounding during full moons thread .....

Just trying to analyse the impact. So what does 2% less mean during the 23 minutes per game?
2% in 24 minutes would be half a rebound per game. Meaning the boards he did not grab, went to a teammate, except once every two games a board went the other way.

So that fuels the idea that he makes it easier for other teammates to grab his rebounds. Sure it would be better he did grab them, but these stats show his lack of rebounding is a wash for the team

Also the efg % plus-minus looks good and that might in fact compensate

Or am I misinterpreting the stats?

And to Harry Palmer: no this is not an excuse, he should grab his damn boards. Cause if he did, and he started hitting the shots he used to make, this team could be so much better

I agree that he needs a big man coach. He has trouble anticipating where the rebound is going. Often he is out of position and it seems like he is watching the other players get the rebound when he should be moving to a better position.
