Now, for all of you who watched todays game.

Do you remember that bounce pass Bargnani did to Bosh for 2 points? Well ESPN or Yahoo have NOT credited Bargnani with the assist. Infact all the websites say Bargnani has 0 assists when he should have 1.

I know its really not that big of deal, but these are professional stat keepers they should be able to do a better job of that. I can understand if it might be a tricky assist where the person shoots it 3-4 seconds after. But this play was instant, Bargnani to Bosh BANG 2 points. Bargnani should be credited with the 1 assist.

I suggest the game should be played again from that point forward. I think Bosh's mentality may have been slightly altered had he been aware that Bargnani ewwww gave him an assist. I think Bosh may have not scored 40 pts had he known that it was Bargnani who helped him.

You are so right author.

Yea, I asked about this in the PG thread. Really odd play for the stats people to miss.

they probably thought that the ball got poked out of his hands then bounced off someone's foot to bosh. :nonono:

The stat keepers aren't used to Bargs speed.

Poor Bargnani. I mean he told the media that after every Raptors win he looks at the stat sheet and checks out his stats.

He was most likely looking at the stats today and was upset he did not get an assist, nothing ever goes right for Bargs lol :(

:wavefinger:

He said the opposite: he looks at his stats only if the team lost...

BTW it's not just that assist, refs rubbed him with 2-3 ghost foul calls...

I still feel sorry for him, one rare assist got taken away :( It was an awesome pass also.

My major concern is not abuut that single assist (it can happen), but on the fact NBA refs seem to focus their attention on him more than other players (regarding doubt fouls, travels, etc)... it's also a Bargs fault (how he plays, how he moves, etc), i know.

Bosh missed the first attempt, and tipped in his own miss.

Maybe that has something to do with Bargnani not getting credit for the assist.

Btw, is there a contest for who can be the biggest prick? Some of you guys can't post without making some sort of sarcastic comment. I understand that not everyone is as intelligent as you, but sometimes posters are genuinely trying to learn about basketball and you guys make them feel like fools.

Bosh got away with a ton of cylinder interference for tip ins..
KHump got one too.

Phantom fouls, missed assists.

The entire NBA staff present was too busy waiting for Isiah to flip.

It's a subconscious reaction to some, maybe people feel the need to "defend their territory" from wolves outside the pack and urinate all over their posts.

are we still talking about the same play where he dunked the ball? There was no miss on the first attempt, it was a clean dunk.

Moon did not get credit for his block on Curry either....
