You get positive points for the time you put into the making the thread, but numerous negatives for the content.

I dont get the point of "this is what I would do if I were GM" threads. Do you think BC will read it and say, hey, you know what! I should try that!

But nonetheless I cant help but love them :)

I don't know what the point of discussing something that you say you know will never happen. But you took some time on it so instead of bashing.

Peitrus is not like Anothny Parker. Parkers a smart player, Pietrus's bball iq rivals Joey Graham.

Jose was offerend for around the 10th pick last year. With a 1st overall pick teams try and aquire a franchise player. There is no way a team gives up a potential franshise player for Calderon who is 7 years older then these guys, a restricted free agent and not a team changer. Most of these teams that get a #1 pick want a guy they can build around. Why would they trade #1 pick for Calderon?

Bosh wants to play in Toronto. He's our franchise player and still young. Why trade him?

The team you constructed might be good, it might not. It's hard to say because it's a big ball of potential with no bench. The starting lineup would be very bad for now, but we would pretty much start the rebuilding process all over again with no gaurantee that most of these players pan out let alone be as tough as it gets in the east. They would be very bad their 1st year to say the least

You don't seem to understand the reality of the NBA...There's no way thats going to happen.. Its hard enough to do one trade but all that is impossible...Even if BC tried to do it...

1- Seattle will not give up their pick, they're rebuilding and they want to add another young piece, not an established point guard that will command a large salary... they don't want to win now so why bother?? No Rubio or other potential superstar...

2-We would never trade Bosh for Bynum and Kwame, I don't know if that even works under the cap and I doubt the Lakers do it... everybody is happy with who they have, nobody wants to make a move that large... We instantly take two or three steps backward if that were to happen... No Bynum..

3-Why the hell would the Hawks trade a potential All-Star caliber 6-8 swingman with a lot of potential for our dimunitive, injury prone, possibly one hit away from retiring point guard?? Again I don't know if this would even work under the salary cap rules without other players involved...No Marvin...

4-Thomas is not really proven, he's struggled a lot as well, although not as much as Bargs... But why would the Bulls want to ship him out and acquire a cap killing slow PF and a 27-year old unproven former minor league player? When they could get much greater returns in other deals? No Thomas...

5- Pietrus is not like Parker... AP has high basketball IQ... No significant role players will want to come because we'll be a 20 win team...

Just completely crazy... I couldn't even do this in 2K8...

Miles ahead? What are you talking about, acquiring new rookies, a Chicago player who hasn't proven anything yet, break up the best point guard duo, trade our franchise player for a center who is no where near his value, and even if he ever does, won't happen for at least another 3-5 years.

Your proposed trades are absolutely ridiculous, and would put this franchise at least 2-3 years backwards. I'm not gonna insult your post, cause I'm sure it must have taken you a long time, but please take some time to think through your ideas in the future.

I'm tired of our team being terrible and I'm tired of constantly reshaping our team year after year, last year with a winning season it was pleasing to see and some fans actually want to relive the Babcock days again.
