Who has the best Ass/TO ratio?

Post#1 » by TorontoBaller » Tue Jan 15, 2008 5:59 pm

Darrick Murray!

Click for Proof

Kevin Ollie is pretty good too...

I just pulled up the stat to see where Jose is now, cuz I know he's had a few Turnover's recently. And I saw the D-Murr at the top of the list.

You know he's the best, right?
Melon head Martin. Sheesh.

Not sure about Ass/TO ratio, but there's no doubt that Martin leads the league in Forehead/TO ratio.

Try the veal, folks.

And shouldn't his HORRIBLE shot selection be considered good for a couple of turnovers.

That's a good diss actually: "Your shots are so bad the scorers table is marking them as turnovers!"

Is an airball considered a turnover or a shot attempt, it should be a turnover...

Unfortunatly he's in 402 out of 425 players in the league in fg% and .154% in 3's. Not the best combo when you're a chucker.

Wow, look at those elite names at the top of the AST/TO stat. Must be as important as Chuck says.

Who here actually believed that the Assist/Turnover stat was all that important?

I think it is one of the most overrated stats in the NBA. Most elite players are no where near the top of that list.

That's actually a good point. Maybe early shot-clock shots that go for air-balls when you are the PG and you haven't passed the ball once SHOULD count as turnovers. It also helps that the only time Martin passes the ball is on a hand-off. Maybe someone should remind him that he isn't playing QB, and that the NBA isn't Madden 2008.

I think most people realize that while it is a good stat to have for someone in a backup type role, it really doesn't mean all that much. For some reason Chuck Swirsky feels he needs to comment on it 25 times a game though like it is the most important and telling statistic in the NBA.
