rip/billups killed us from perimeter like usual. somehow sam is convinced that post play kills this team. he is always quick to double any scrub that decides to post. i swear they didnt have any points off the post, but our strat was to leave rip/billups open for j's. how about let them first show what they can do in the post, before you decide to double. just horribly. how about we just stick to rip so he doesnt have an open shot? that 40points must have the easiest 40 he has scored in his career.

as well calderon has to force his offense sometimes. its when they decide to force a play that is isnt there (ala spoon feeding Bosh) that we get into troube. if they are overplaying bosh, CALDERON drive and look for your offense.

We lost because of turnovers and very very sloppy defense.

It looked as though on every Piston possession, there was a Piston player left wide open without a defender even near him. Everyone was missing rotations or just forgetting who they were covering.

We made some progress against them when we pushed the ball up the floor but whenever they ran a set offense the pistons had an answer for it. TJ would be great against them.

In the end they just didn't have any legs or energy tonight.

Hamilton sucks, anyone can good shooter can score 40 pts when no one is anywhere near you.. If the Pistons did the same thing with Kapono, he would have dropped 50 easy... I saw this against Barbosa, give them a ridiculous amount of uncontested shots.. and how the hell does Mcdyess get 7 steals, rofl.. stupid passes, not taking care of the ball.. Raps could have won but played (Please Use More Appropriate Word)..

Sam's antics made this loss so worth it. Some of the funniest stuff I've seen in a while.

Our inability to cover the 2 and 3 spots is killing us. I'm sorry, but Parker defensively right now isn't getting the job done.

Yep, too many points for the Pistons off our turnovers. Not good.

The moment Bosh started settling for jumpers and not attacking when he wasn't doubled, I knew we would lose this game. Maybe I'm being too critical on him, but it all starts with him. Every single time, he plays like a sissy against Detroit. And I refuse to believe that he can't dominate just a little bit cuz he did score his previous career high against them.

This reminds me a lot of the Bulls-Detroit days. MJ was the only one who was relentless. His teammates were pusies that's why Detroit beat them year in and year out. How could we ever expect to beat Detroit when even our leader is afraid?

Is anyone really surprised or upset that we lost? The game was pretty much a mirror image of the first game and the score also confirms this.

When you ask your players to double Jarvis f*cking Hayes, you know you're going to lose the game. Enough said. Let's move on. It was going to be a loss regardless.
