Bargnani is showing signs of improvement

Post#1 » by Illuminati » Wed Jan 16, 2008 3:19 am

6 rbs in 15 minutes of floor time. Sam's coaching is slowly but surely working out for the best.

If he were to get 30 minutes he'd have a near double double. That's what we expect out of the Center of the future.

are you nuts, showing signs of improvements? The guy did not do nothing today. If anything the only thing he is showing signs of is that he is becoming more and more of a draft bust.

He's rushing his shot. He's mentally weak.

I'm only seeing 4, but mine froze with a minute or so left in the game. Did he get 2 more in the last minute?

That said, what's this about a double double?

He only had 5 rebounds, and I missed the first few minutes of the game where he had 3, so I can't speak on those ones. But, one of the two I saw fell right into his chest off a badly missed shot, and he still almost bobbled it out of bounds.

And yeah, double double is stretching it considering he had 0 points on 0-4 shooting.

He ended up with 5 rebounds which I guess is some sort of small consolation.

Those rebounds basically fell into his lap, but overall Sam was not pleased with his performance. After surrendering some boards to McDyess and constantly being late on defense as usual, Smitch ripped into him and took him out for the rest of the half.

5, my mistake. If you give Bargnani 40 minutes of play time and 20 shots, guaranteed double double.

Would all of you be satisfied then?

If this is better, he must have been playing like the worst player in nba history.

Guaranteed double double?!?!

Over 40 minutes at his current pace, he would average 5.9 rebounds, and with 20 shots, he would average just over 21 pts, and no, I wouldn't be satisfied.

 Bargnani will have a great game in Sacremento, Brad Miller is to slow too guard him, Mikki Moore is to skinny too guard him, and Spencer Hawes is too fat to guard him.

Bargnani for 25/6/2! Realistically, 18/6/2!

Heh, no, because we might well lose by 20+ against any team. Five rebounds in one game isn't a trend...just like it would be silly to say that his 0-4 performance dictates that it is doubtful that he will ever hit another shot.

You're just missing the boos and a weird interview discussing how Araujo would chase chickens if he was told to.
