Is Bargnani Part of the Future?

Lets face it, the core of our team is revolved around 3 players Bosh, Calderon and Ford. I dont think Bargnani should be part of it. He does not really flow with the rhythm and he messes up the team chemistry. I will not give up on him just yet, but I just dont think this guy is here for the long term. Bargnani is a bad draft pick just like Joey Graham. The guy plays with no intensity.

I surpassed my over/under on Bargnani threads by 5 ROFL.

Bargnani has no emotion or intensity, like he's just going through the motions without thinking or reacting to anything.

When you mentioned the "motions" I pictured a lost Bargnani in the bathroom.

yes he is a huge part of the teams future. i gess this thread is no longer needed now that your question is answered. bargnani can be discussed in the tons of barganin threads. why not jus ask this question in one of them?

He'll be a big part of something. Either a trade, or a part of this team if he actually improves. I mean, all he has to do is improve from last year, is that so damn hard?

Seeing as Vancouver doesn't have a team anymore, I'm afraid so. :(

When Brandon Roy/Tim Duncan/T-Mac display the exact same characteristics, they're showing poise and maturity.

Leave the guy alone. His demeanor hasn't changed one iota from last year or from his days in Italy, so I really doubt that is the cause of his struggles.

When I read the title of this thread, I said to myself wow, tonight someone else besides James699 will get the stupidest question of the day award. Looks like I judged to quickly.

What do you think? I really can't think of any reason why any GM would select someone first overall and have no plans of the future with them.

See Brand, Elton drafted by Jerry Krause in 1999.

And?

His statement, at least as I understood it, implied that no GM in their right mind would trade a #1 pick this early in their career. Jerry Krause was not in his right mind for making the trade.

I think you can draw your own conclusions from here.

Instead of blindly defending Bargs, why dont you just take time to explain why he should be part of the future. I mean, he has been given multiple chances to prove his worth and he has failed miserably. I know James699 or w/e is a bad poster but I dont think the question he proposed is one that should be ignored. What has Bargnani done so far to warrant him a future with the raptors? being drafted first overall?
