I think our team is awesome but forever asked is the all imprtant question how do we reach that next most important level that Detroit has? I have some thoughts of my own but I am interested in what others think....


P.S. My take on Detroit in particular is that they hit that final elite level when they aquired Rasheed and I sure wish it had been us they really got a great deal on him too.

Get 4 borderline all-stars and have them play together for 4-6 years.

By trading for a swingmen and playing together for 4+ years.

Experience + Being Healthy

Playing together for 3-4 years.

Detroit has had years and years of growing together. We're basically a team that's been together for a little over a year. We have to be patient. Oh, and getting another great player never hurts.

BY CHANGING OUR COACH

Entire personality and mindset of the team need to change first ...our team is for lack of a better term, the "softest" in the NBA...no exaggeration.

you need to have more american players and less euros too match Detroit. Sorry it is true. Look at the way that they play.

The Pistons core hang out off court as well. That's why they have such good chemistry.

Trade for a good swingman, and get a good center.

oh yes, we would like a bad boy. A guy that is going to run up to the stands and attack some fat boy. Yes thats what we need. A guy that comes to the Air Canada Centre, and takes the ball during a bad call and boots it really high. We need character guys, not guys with bad attitudes.
