He does take some remarkable swings...but his hand-eye coordination is off the charts. Seriously, there are few players in the league that can wind up and spike the ball out of a guy's hands as he starts to go up and consistently get nothing but ball. More remarkable is that he rarely gets called for rookie fouls.

I wonder if he ever played volleyball to pay the bills...

Imagining anyone smacking D-Mart for certain plays is entertaining. :p

send Jamario that he should grow his nails... so he could instill fear into opponent.

scenerio:

Moon goes for help, ball passed to open man in the corner. Moon can't recover. Now Moon jumps towards him with his claw ready to swipe

what goes thru the shooters mind is probably Omg he'll scratch me, he'll scatch me. It might make me bleed... gotta avoid it!

Hes going to hurt himself before he hurts anyone, ive already seen him smash his head on the floor twice after an awkward landing. That the risk you take playing above the rim, its not safe up there but thats the life of an astroman.

Jamario should smack D-Mart after his next ill advised 3 point chuck.

Unless its in the finals seconds of a game to keep a streak going

I don't think thats gonna stop Jamario. If thats what Smitch wants him to play like, then he'll continue doing it.

But it seems like he knows where he's going to swat -- the ball.

Let's give Moon's minutes to Kapono, there's no danger that he'll hurt anybody out there... ;)

If he chin-butted someone, Kapono's beard could leave abrasions...

I WOULD LOVE TO PLAY YOU IN PICKUP BASKETBALL!
i'd aggressively swipe your weak shot out of the gym and youd have to walk out and get it. and it be raining.

This is the NBA.. Anything can happen.. That's is what separates us from them. Yes he may swipe someone but it's part of the game.

I guess that's why they get paid.

It's obvious you don't play basketball, because it's kind of hard to block a shot without swinging your arm that fast.

oh baby, id send you flying with a pump fake, then dunk on your ass. Haha no just kidding, layup on your ass. And then you'd come back at me on offence, trying to save face after the embaressment of the past play, and you'd take it right at me, but I've got surprising hops for a medium sized white guy, and you'd be the one running out of the gym to get the ball. Except, you wouldn't come back.

haha, ud be surprised. About me not playing basketball I'm talking about.

You know what though, I have changed my mind. Those huge swipes at the ball are a big reason he's been able to block so many shots. And his handeye coordination on those swipes is excellent. Even if at some point he misses and hits someone, it probably won't be in the head, and hey, it's part of the game.

Ask Sam. You cannot go in there half azzed. :P

A player has to go at 100% or risk the 2 most serious setbacks in sport ... injury or bench! 8)

salamiandcheese wrote:Oh yeah i'm right worried about him hurting someone. Are you sh*** me. Only a wuss would comment on that. I love the cross swipes there like his trademark. So you must love how soft the raptors are and how they don't lay the lumber on anybody (especially on the rebounding side) In fear that they might hurt someone. What a stupid question. The raptors need some toughness and we all know it.

Take someones head off jamario for f sakes!!!!!

Haven't you been trolling on the Hawks board about this same thing all day?

EDIT: No, its SalamiNCheez. Must be in the name.
