I know that the Dixon/Martin combo sucked, but didn't know that it got this bad.

Combined:
9:31 minutes per game
0.271 FG%
0.118 3FG%
2 total FTA in 200 minutes of play
1 rebound per game
1.4 assist per game
2.1 points per game

Martin:
8:08 minutes per game
0.278 FG%
0.143 3FG%
1 FTA (in all games played)
0.5 rebound per game
0.6 assist per game
1.6 points per game

Dixon:
10:22 minutes per game
0.269 FG%
0.100 3FG%
1 FTA (in all games played)
1.4 rebound per game
1.8 assist per game
2.4 points per game

I don't know why we still have these 2 on the roster. Come on TJ...

I knew it was this bad. It's horrific when Calderon goes off the court.

I'm not opposed to trading one of our PG's, but man we need to shore up the backup spot. Hopefully Ukic can give at least mediocre minutes.

What happened to Dixon btw? He can't shoot for crap anymore.

Apparently, an upgrade at the back-up PG position and a banging rebounder are #1 & #2 on Bryan's shopping list.

I'm surprised D-Mart wasn't bought out on Jan. 10th with a D-Leaguer called up. (and I'm one of the few guys here who likes D-Mart).

SS is implying that TJ needs to get healthy soon!

Well, are back up PG looks better when its Delfino who goes 5 for 7 behind the arc and has that defence and takes it to the house.

Are problem is a C (a Bannger a BIG body)

We can move Martin back to the DL and Dixon use him in a trade. Because if TJ comes back were good to go. Or use TJ in a deal to aquire a ledgit young big man.

We all know Martin is a scrub and Dixon is a 3rd stringer.

I think that we can put to bed all these TJ vs Jose debates. We need both. I thought that the Raptors should have signed Earl Boykins to a 10 day contract. At least he'll be somewhat decent backup.

Let Delfino run the point for those 8 minutes and play Dixon exclusively at SG.

No need. Let's just understand that Dixon/Martin SHOULD NOT play the role as back up.

D-Mart must have pictures on somebody because I can't figure out why he's still around. With one of our two PG on the shelf, he doesn't even dress. What's the point?

This team's depth is not being utilized properly. As somebody already pointed out, the backup point guard duties should be handed over to Delfino. The vacant 2/3 minutes left behind should be given to Graham.....if he plays well like he did toward the end of last season, he might be a decent chip to have at the trade deadline. Martin is utter trash, I don't understand why he's still on the roster.

Yes, we could definitely use TJ for 8-10 min. But packaging him in a trade for a SF/SG and a backup PG would provide us 30+ quality min at these positions.

Let's stop viewing posters within what we perceive as their agenda, shall we please?

There is nothing wrong with being cynical and let's keep discussions to what people present within the current thread. What is being presented is statistical evidence for a thought, that as you point out, pretty much all of us feel. But at least something is being brought to the table.

well.. when every 2nd post from him is a trade TJ Ford because Jose is god.. you get the picture ;)

btw.. i'd be open to trade either one of them.. if it gives us a 90% shot at Michael Beasley :D

Starting 5 of Bosh, Bargnani, Beasley, Parker, Tj/Jose would be sweet.

we're not trading tj ford...stop bringing up the impossible (that means BC has already said he wants BOTH) i would like to trade graham/dixon because some teams have to see the potential graham shows in his body, and when he plays well he is a very nice player.
dixon is a great spot-up shooter (or at least he was when we first acquired him) and has learned to take it to the rack, but u cant give him the rock in hopes of him passing the ball, because he is a bad passer with no vision. he is a solid backup 2guard.

Actually I was addressing your comments towards SS, and got distracted, so I didn't post in time to get in before gscw made his comments.

And gscw isn't being disruptive. Let's not get caught up in people's agendas. Let's keep discussions within the thread.
