On the other hand, I think we'll bring it against Boston.

I'm thinking/hoping that this loss will propell us to bring it against Boston on wednesday. Not that this team needs any more incentive to beat Boston other than the fact that we've already lost 3 times to them. Hopefully we'll play with alot of energy and a chip on our shoulder.

NO, this will be another blowout by the mid 3rd quarter

NO we have no chance if Ford isn't playing,he steps up against competition and takes over games when needed or when players struggle which would most likely happen against the best defence in the East or one of. BUT we may have a chance if Rondo is still out because he won't go off for 25 points against Calderon.

Ford is becoming a mythical deity around these parts.

Is this the same Ford that got us blown out by Milwaukee earlier on in the season?

Anyway, I don't want to burst people bubbles I know he is hurt and all, but thinking like this is what got a lot of posters believing that we should trade Bosh before Andrea even played his first game. This team is better with Ford, but by no means are we worthless without him. He isn't a Saviour.

TJ was our best player before his injury. BEST. So say what you want about one poor performance there were far more good ones.

Maybe so, but what I said in my post is true. Calderon can not take a game over does not have the ability to carry a team during their struggles also is ridiculous but I feel he gives effort so I dont complain about too much.

Maybe you guys should find another team to root for, or just skip the game all together since you Ford fans already know what is going to happen.

...and no, I do not feel Ford was our best player.

Of course we have a chance. I wouldn't bet my house on it, but of course we have a chance.

my prediction: bargnani has a good game, raps win by 5. ( I am very optimistic.)

What will probably happen: bargs will have more fouls than rebounds and pts combined. raps lose by at least 20.

Not a bad idea.

And believe me you are in the minority about TJ, he was easily our best player before the injury. Not only fans and non-fans thought so but all the writers and columnist too.

i didnt realize we were playing u guys again this week. aywho we have not been playing well, but the last 5 min of that philly gam is reaosn to be optimisitc as we looked like the team that we had been thru the first 23 games or so. i think the game in ny will be a good indicator for were we are. if rondos back (which he is saying me maybe) than thats a great sign for us, and if we can continue to move the ball like we did against philly and carry it into NY thats a great sign for us. BUT if we are stagnant and maybe "just pull out a win" in NY (or lose) u guys have a GREAT shot at beating us. our perimiter defense has not been to cohesive the past few games and against toronto thats an area that we can not afford to be sloppy at

Don't forget, that game you mention was during a time when Bosh was playing the worst basketball of his career. We have not seen a 100% healthy Bosh and Ford together this season at all. Once Bosh got healthy, Ford went down. It's hard to win games when your two best players aren't playing together, especially a team like the Raptors who have no C or creative wings.

Ford was also showing us that his game had matured tremendously since last season. He was easily our best player overall during that stretch. Bosh was probably our best defensive player, but his offense was pure trash. He couldn't hit open jumpshots, and refused to drive.

Ford isn't a saviour, but this team plays much, much better with him on the court. It'll also help our defense when we don't get beat by PG penetration and open 3's all game.

I'm feeling confident about our chances...put me down for betting your house on a win.
