Should be fined too. I can have sympathy for Al Horford but not a malicious attempt to hurt someone like Johnson did.

Chuck was calling for two games which was unreasonable.

One game makes sense.

how many games did Bogut get last year for pushing Bosh? I think this and the Jose-Johnson thing are pretty equal in severity, it's just poor sportsmanship ...

This was definitely more malicious as Johnson elbowed Calderon in the back of the head. There is no way Calderon could see or brace himself for the hit. Intent to injury and potential to injure was far greater in this instance. Luckily, Calderon was ok, but it could've been alot worse

This is the only video I can find of this and it happens quite fast right at the beginning.

From the way the players are milling round for the rest of the clip I think they didn't have a clue what happened.

1 game is fine but there is no room in the game for crap like that- a real punk move by a bitter older man who was obviously upset that his Euro counterpart was having his way with him on the floor at both ends.

Nice beard you freak.

One game does NOT make sense nor is it fine. Horfford injured TJ accidently so 1 game kind of made sense. What he did was no accident, and it was a cheap shot. Should be more than 1 game.

Should have been 2 games, he did try to hurt JC.

Forever he'll be booed at ACC & even worst, he now has the "dirty player" stigma in NBA.

He definitely tried to hurt Jose, but he didn't try to injure him. There is a definite difference.

I don't know why people are trying to down play this, like it was nothing. The guy was purposly trying hurt Jose, so what if he didn't connect that hard, but if he did, Jose could be out with a concussion.
