"Irrespective of the fact that the atmosphere at the ACC is comparable to a library when the Toronto Maple Leafs play, the venue itself is one of the newer and finer Canadian sports venues. It's sharp, crisp and clean inside. The facility has won at least 25 awards, such as Canadian Major Facility of the Year, and it

Not a lot competition. Just look at the CFL and the terrible shape most of those stadiums are in. There are high school teams in the US that play in better venues (then again Americans actually support amateur sports).

Has anyone else noticed how the Raptors crowds are slowly becoming more and more like the Leafs' crowds these days?

The number of suits and business people types are starting to grow and making the lower bowl seem a little more subtle and quieter. Most of the seats down there are empty til a few minutes of the game have passed (same with after the half). I guess that's what success and higher ticket prices brings. The crowd in the upper half is still amazing though.

Yes and no. The ACC certainly has been quieter this year but there hasn't been as many exciting home games either. The last game against Atlanta, in the 4th quarter was the first time this year that I was reminded of last season (I missed the portland game due to a hangover).
