New free throw distraction for other team!!!

Hey guys,
I have an excellent way to effectively distract opposing teams while shooting their free throws.
Right now, when the opposing team's player is lining up to shoot free throws at the ACC, everyone in the crowd is clapping thundersticks for the 15 seconds or so before he shoots, up until he lets go of the ball. The player has plenty of time to acclimatize himself to both the distracting look and distracting sound. Also it's a constant motion, making it easy for the opposing player to acclimatize himself to it.
My solution:
There are different possible solutions. One solution is for the building to be completely quiet while the player is getting ready to shoot the free throw. Then, maybe a second before he releases the ball, as he's going through his shooting motion, everyone should scream. This is something that would not be constant while the player is getting ready to shoot, and therefore not something he can really aclimatize himself for or get used to. Think about it. If your playing ball, and you want to distract someone else who is about to shoot, what do you typically do? You wait until right before he's about to shoot, then yell something.
In terms of non vocal action, also maybe a second or 2 before he releases the ball, the people seated in the line of vision of the opponent player need to do something crazy. For example, a second or 2 before he releases the ball, everyone should throw something up in the air. Something that would distract the player and throw the player off.
Obviously, this would be nearly impossible to actually carry out. My dream is that in the playoffs, we could somehow pull it off. It would hypothetically take at least some people who sit in the section behind the baskets knowing about this, and then them somehow convincing every single person in the section to carry it out.
Do you guys agree that this would be a more efficient to distract the opposing player, and furthermore, do you think, with a ridiculous amount of work, this can somehow be, to some degree, put into effect when the playoffs roll around?
