Remember, people, Moon was a near cut in Toronto during training camp and wasn't expected by anyone outside of maybe his mom and dad to come in and play as well as he's played this year. With that in mind, I've given up all his other nicknames (Super Jamario, Moon Man, Jamario Speedwagon, etc.) and am going to start calling him Odysseus Moon exclusively. It's classy, it's edgy, it's apropos and it reminds me of Bethlehem Shoals. You can't go wrong with a nickname that conjures up thoughts of FreeDarko's creator.

Durant shouldn't be number 1.

People are too awed by the '19 ppg' number. Horford's the clear cut number 1.

Al Horford should be ROY if the season ended today.

Wow there could be only two retuning players to the rookie/sophomore game. I wonder if that is common to have such a discrepancy between the top 9 players in a draft in their rookie year versus their sophomore year.

The thing with Durant is that he is the franchise for Seattle not the mention the go to scorer. Horford on the other hand is just a defensive presence that rebounds. He doesn't really have that much of a scoring role since Johnson and Smith dominate the Hawk's offense.

I'm betting on Conley to start rising pretty rapidly.

+1 but he definitely doesn't have a shot at the award

I think it would be less absurd for Swirsky to vote for Moon this year than it was to vote for Bargnani last year. Too bad that Swirsky would get killed in the media if he voted for another Raptor again this year.

You know he'll just do it anyway.

Is it me or is this draft class pretty bad? Sure Oden isn't there but even so, this draft hasn't really impressed this year.
