Our scouts leave no grain of sand unturned

I always wondered what Jim Kelly had on the organization to keep his job. I thought it might be dirty pictures of somebody on the MLSE board. How does he get an assignment like this? Cairns is beach country. By the way, before the Europhobes chime in, the player he's scouting is black, probably aboriginee, and NBAdraft has him going late first round.

Sounds good to me. You aren't doing your due diligence if you don't take a look at every available talent.

Doubt Delfino would appreciate being called a Spaniard though.

It's just really good to read these articles, knowing MLSE is doing everything they can to make this team better.

It's good to hear that our scouts are traveling the globe as much as they can looking at up and coming players.

Sounds a bit short for my liking, but still seems like a decent prospect. A physical guy who can shoot free throws... def. sounds like a guy B.C. could be interest in.

Another PF?

Maybe BC is looking at him as a 2nd rounder if he can slip that far and buy a pick for a cheap price.

He's 6'10 and 280lbs. Sounds like big body to me.

Here's a video of him from the ASG. Looks interesting. The comparison to Curry doesn't seem right to me.

Or maybe after this trip we won't be interested at all. I'm just happy they are taking the time to go to Australia and find out.

Sounds like an interesting prospect. He sounds like a pretty physical player, which is definitely a plus for this team.

280 lbs. I hope that's muscle.

He apparently has to lose a bit of weight. See the Eddy Curry comparison.

From the video it looks like most of it is, He's not fat like curry or big baby.

After that video he kinda seems like a less athletic Dwight. Looks like he can also hit an outside shot.

That's why I said he still sounds like a solid prospect. 6'10 is decent height for the center position, I'd just like to see a few more inches... or at least a nice wingspan.

His wing span is 7"5. for a 6"10 guy definitly decent with his athletisism

draft express
Jawai surely has a massive wingspan, 7 foot 5 in fact, at least according to one published report.

Our 2008 second round pick goes to the Spurs
Second round picks in 2010 and 2011 go to Detroit...

Who are our scouts looking at for the first round selection this year? Is this guy really a first round pick?

Which is longer the list of centers that have excelled in the NBA or the list of centers that have failed?
