Would you guys take a chance on Darius Miles?

In his career in the league Darius Miles averaged about 10 points 5/6 rebounds and 1 block a game. Yes, I know he is a headcase and has a big contract that pays him about 8 million a year. But would any of you take a chance on him if his contract gets bought out? He is only 26 and is great if given minutes he did all that in 27 minutes a game. And if given 35+ minutes he could give you 15/10/2.

Only if the team that he gets traded from pays for his salary (which is not going to happen). The guy is an ugly contract. If they want Rasho for Darius Miles , that is something I would do.....

10 points and 5-6 rebounds...all in 27 minutes? My, my, he's a borderline superstar.
Don't we have like 3 forwards who are doing just as much in less minutes?
Also, if you give anyone 35+ minutes, I would expect them to AT LEAST give you 15 points. Darius Miles gives us nothing that we need. Nothing.

Great soo basically we are getting an injured Jamario Moon whos is earning around 8 mil a year...wowwww great idea there buddy. IS darius even atheletic anymore ?

He'd have to prove that he'd have a significantly better impact than Moon, and at this point, I doubt it.

Bad contract? Check.
Bad attitude? Double check.
Legs barely attached after numerous surgeries? That's an emphatic yes.
Basketball intelligence of roadkill? Another one for the yes column.
Frequently lazy and unproductive even when healthy? To be sure.
There you have it: Darius Miles is, in all possible ways, the antithesis of what we need. And because we don't need a thread on every bad player in the league who might be available (and Miles is verrrry bad, and even more available), I'm going to lock this.
