All this talk about Mighty Mouse got me looking at the D-League since it's likely Damon will decide to go to a championship contender than become Darrick Martin version 2 in Toronto. The best team are the league is the Idaho Stampede and the smart thing to do would be to look at bringing one or two of their players up. The first guy is Randy Livingston. He's averaging a double-double with points and assists which would translate to one of the better third-string point guards in the NBA if you ask me. I mean, if we're gonna pay extra to get Damon, why not get a pass-first, experienced, smart Randy Livingston who also brings size to the point at 6-4?

The second guy is Lance Aldred who has been mentioned a few times on this board before. Our team is desperate for a guy who will play Center and do the dirty work on defense and rebounding. Aldred fits the mold of what we're looking for perfectly. Why not offer these two guys a couple of 10-day deals and see what they can do?

With BC likely trading Juan and Joey there'll be a roster spot open, and the spot we were going to use for Damon can be used for the second guy. If not, we just sign the guy we need more.

I remember Livingston from his LSU days. "he was named the High School co-player of the year in 1992 (with Jason Kidd) and 1993 (with Rasheed Wallace). "
