Are teams starting to figure out Boston?

they have won tonight againt Minny, but due to stupid mistakes from Minny. They've lost to Bobcats, Raps, Wiz twice. They don't seem to getting any easy wins latley! I still think they'll win the east, but I don't see them dominating in the playoffs!

Werd.. a good strategy would be to just attack Rondo and let them become jump shooters.

My strategy all along is to make KG beat you. Don't double him unless it's the other big guy. The Raps always seem to get killed when they help on him and leave Pierce or Allen wide open. I always have believed that the key has always been KG. I still say play him straight up, keep Bosh on him and keep the other guys in check.

But, maybe their bench is starting to get exposed without Posey in the lineup.

Basically. They were playing over their heads for 2 months, playing on adrenaline pretty much...now, as Harry would say, they're regressing to the mean. They probably still win 60 games, though.

And their lack of depth is starting to hurt them. All of their rotation guys are extremely key to their success so missing just one of them hurts them a lot...and Posey is one of the defensive anchors on that team; they're missing him a lot right now.

their bench has come back to reality...and Posey has been hurt...they need a 1(A) type pg and another versatile forward....they should throw some picks at sac for udrih and salmons..those two would fit their needs well...they need two more additions to their bench to beat det in the east

Yea that's what happens when you want to play your big 3 40 minutes night in night out. Sure a record of 72-10 is great but good luck in the playoffs.

They are getting older by the minute and more tired with every game. Just a matter of time before injuries start to catch up with them.

They have yet to eat a elite team.

No team plays at their highest level all season long. Boston included.

This is still a very good team that will cruise to 60+ wins and they're not a team I'd want to see in the playoffs.

they are the best team in the league and we were fortunate to have beaten them once. minny is really hot right now and boston is playing their worst ball of the year. i hate them with a passion, but respect their power. i think they will lose in seven games to detroit in the conference final, with detroit taking the championship.

yeah you could say the same thing about detroit, the spurs, the suns, the mavs - its a long season.

minny just beat the suns and the spurs barely won against the heat.
doesn't change the fact that they are the best defensive team in the league.

where do the raptors rank now? it seems much better than the beginning of the season.

They are still easily the best team in the league.

Allen and Pierce are only playing 1 more minute than their career average while KG is actually averaging 3 less minutes than his career average. Plus, when all 3 are playing at the same time, I don't think that each player has to work as hard because he's got 2 all stars to share the court with. So I don't really buy the "they're wearing down" argument BUT their bench IS really thin and missing just Posey is having a big effect.

Yeah I say Detroit beats them in the playoffs. But I honestly think if the Raps get to the 2nd round that anything can happenf or them after that. If we play Detroit we lose, but Cleveland and Boston are more winnable series for us if that makes any sense. I think the Raps really figured Boston out the last game they played and they know they can beat them if they play perfect.
