OT: Milwaukee Bucks Locker Room Bust Up

Apparently, its being reported that a showdown happened in the locker room after tonight's game and it didn't invovle Redd. Speculation is that it involved CV after Larry K subbed him out despite his steller play in the first half and then chose to put Jake Voshkul in the 3rd first instead of CV.
That team has issues! People here complain about Smitch's rotations, wait till you see Milwaukee's.. lol

That was bull about CV though, I thought him and Bogut were the best Bucks, yet they barely played... Charlie has a legitimate issue since he was taken out right when he was on fire....I don't understand why that was... Buck's coach is either throwing games or he's a moron...

^ i think it has something to do with the promise to Yi.

Reading that Bucks thread, they feel that the issue involves CV somehow. Some things from the thread:
- CV had a physical confrontation with the coach last year so the bad blood may have carried over
- CV plays hard once a week, and players like Bogut don't appreciate that

I'm pretty sure playing Jake Voshkul over CV had nothing to do with the promise to Yi

^^ I watch every Bucks game. And CV gets the hook way too early and way too inconsistently. I mean even when the guy is hot (like tonight), he gets a quick hook and Yi gets his minutes. Ask the Bucks fans and most of them will tell you that CV has been the better player than Yi for the past month or more and even then the guy is not getting consistent minutes. Its hard to put up good numbers night in and night out when you don't get the ball too often (Mo Will and Redd) dominate the ball and even when he's hot, the guys don't feed him. Just like today, he was hot, and what happened? got the hook. Came in late in the 3rd and got just ONE touch. You can't expect the guy to play hard if he's not getting his touches cuz he is afterall an offensive minded player.

From reading the Bucks board a couple times this week, it seems that their coach puts Charlie's game under the microscope A LOT MORE than any other Buck. They say even if he does have a good first half(like he has the past 3-4 games) he wont play much in the 2nd half because of 1 or 2 defensive mistakes even though every player on their team makes just as many if not more than him shown in tonights game especially. Coach K just doesnt seem to like the guy. I hope CV gets into a better situation where his talents are used better and a coach that wont let him coast through games and can get the most out of him, because there is a lot there.

^ I agree, especially a player like CV that needs to be motivated to play hard...having the ball go through ball hogging guards, then Bogut, and also being pulled for Yi all the time is just way too much to take for a guy... how can you put in any kind of effort when you know you'll barely play, not get the ball often when you're in the game, and when you actually do play well you'll still be taken out for a rookie?... plus your team stinks, you're on bad terms with the coach, and everybody else is unhappy as well...
I really really wouldn't mind somehow acquiring Charlie V again, I think he would do very well with Jose or TJ setting him up...

sucks to be CV... dood gets undermined by a handshake deal the bucks made with the Chinese officials over YI. Trade Joey for CV

As much as I love CV, the last thing we need is another soft shooter. Where are we going to find time to play Bosh, Bargs, and Charlie? At this point right now, CV doesn't fit well on our trigger-happy team unless he learns to play a lot tougher defense and rebound. I know he has good looking rebounding #s, but I don't think they're of the crash-and-bang variety, and that's more of what we need. We've got enough scorers as it is.

I know that yi gets his minutes. But, in this game, CV's minutes weren't lost to Yi. They were lost to Jake.

you can tell that team is disfunctional, they got some talent but no chemistry
its weird how CV was really liked among the fans here and now he's pretty much nothing in milwaukee. i guess the work ethic is his biggest problem and we traded him while he value was high.

yeah I miss Charlie too. I like Ford alot but I think we could of done without that trade. I know no one could have predicted Jose was gonna play like this, but I honestly felt at the time that Charlie would be better for us then TJ. He can play the 3 and the 4 and sometimes the 5 if we go small. He just fit so perfectly. We coulda found a decent back up for Jose somewhere else.

CV on today's game:
Villanueva said the Bucks made it hard on themselves by failing to execute their offense as the run dragged on.
"Instead of us coming together, we just went apart from each other," Villanueva said. "You don't win ballgames like that."
