At last night's game, Herbie Kuhn made a fabulous blunder I wanted to share with you.

There was a foul on the floor. Herbie was going to announce that there was a "loose ball foul" on the floor.

What came out instead was:

"That was a loose bowel...."

After painfully listening to Herbie's bandwagonesque Eurofever (i.e. "unos, dos, trehhhhhhhhhs!" and "numero ooooooo-choh!") for the past year and a half, i found it highly refreshing to hear him announce that a player was suffering from loose bowels.

Thank you, Herbie.

As clear as the reflection on his head, he said "There is a loose bowel..." and caught himself on the "wel" part.
he paused, and repeated it the right way.

I think he was thrown off by J-Grahams' 3 fouls in 3 seconds performace

Ooook. This is why long layoffs between games are problematic...frightening Sunshine Girls and Herbie's loose bowels roam free like stray livestock. I'm going to lock this Holstein back in its pen.
