Euro guard to join Raptors

According to published reports, the Raptors have a reached a deal that would free point guard Roko Ukic next season to play for Toronto. The 6-foot-5 point guard plays with Lottomatica Roma of the Italian league. The native of Split, Croatia , was drafted in the second-round of the 2005 draft, but played the past two seasons with Tau Ceramica and Barcelona of the Spanish League.

already been discussed, I dun't think its 100% confirmed yet

it would be perfect if he was here now....i dont think we are going to get a poitgaurd by the deadline..why would they take on a contract and then have ukic coming in...that would mean 4 decent points for next year..doesnt make sense.

It's actually somewhat suspicious that they would do this. If they wanted a backup right now while TJ is gone, that would make more sense. But they're already committing to Ukic for NEXT YEAR, who, with TJ and Jose back in the lineup, would be a 3rd string point guard. And I'm not sure they would bring Ukic over to be the 3rd string point guard. Being that they've already said they're going to extend Jose's contract, this has suspicious implications regarding to TJ. What do you think this means with regards to TJ?
