Hey everybody,
I'm moving to NYC pretty soon and I'm hoping to catch most Raps games at sports bars in Manhattan. Is anybody living there that watches Raps and can recommend anything?
Thanks

Wouldn't you be better off getting a satellite dish? or signing up for League Pass?

If you wanted to be an anti-social loser than yes. A good sports bar, with appes & beves + a good game is awesome. I'm have no clue where you would go in Manhattan but good luck man.

Catching Raps games in Manhatten is tough.
Your only choices are a place with a ton of TVs like Bounce (which is expensive, and the people only go there to be seen), or to watch it online.
Occasionally you'll find a bar with NBA package, so if the Raps happen to play on a night when there are few other games (no MLB, NFL, other NBA, or even NHL) they may show it if you ask them for it.
As the above posters mentioned, i recommend either getting a package or finding online links to watch the games.
p.s. New York is sweet you're gonna love it

Like they say above me, it is extremely rare that you will catch a Raptor game that doesn't feature a NJ or NY franchise. You will mostly catch college football or basketball. And don't forget about hockey. People will catch a Rangers game over the disturbing basketball teams of the city right now. I have yet to see a regular pub that has multiple tvs, but everyone of them tuned in to something different.
If you find one, please let me know.

I hate that place. When I went there it was just like that old kurt russel movie where he's trying to escape. All these gangs were coming out of the sewers at me, got shot by a crossbow. Barely got out. Hate it there

i watched a leafs playoff game (a WHILE AGO!) here with a bunch of toronto folks...
the management seemed friendly enough to change the channels to accommodate us

You won't find any Raptors games in a sports bar in NY not even really in Toronto most of it is hockey.

I lived in NYC for a while, and you won't any Raptor games. Even finding a Knicks game is tough at times. Football prevails out in NY.
Get a black box or something.
