Bosh is Toronto

Post#1 » by #9 » Wed Jan 30, 2008 12:45 am

For 3-5 games now I've had the privilege of hearing other team broadcasters whenever they faced the Raptors.

The game in progress vs the wizards (who by the way I think are one of the best broadcasting team out there because they are not biased) the broadcasters have enough good things to say about Bosh. I know that this has been discussed numerous countless times but IMHO I think we take our franchise player, Bosh, for granted. Were so fortunate to have him. I can guarantee that without a doubt he is going to the hall of fame. yes people we have a man of that stature ON OUR TEAM. Without him we wouldn't even utter the word 'playoffs' let alone a .500 team.

Well this thread is pretty much pointless (mods feel free to lock)... just wanted to share my thoughts, I rarely post but I am on realgm everyday, so I just thought ' might as well'

I agree. Even when Bosh scores 40 points a game we're barely impressed.

It's funny. He's dedicated, hard working, an amazing player, etc. but we somehow spend more time talking about Bargnani, Calderon, and Moon than him.

It was mentioned in tonight's broadcast that this is the first time in roughly two years that Bosh has been close to 100% healthy. No foot pain, no knee pain, and he's in great game shape. I think his recent numbers speak for themselves, this guy is a special player, and we're lucky to have him.

Chuck and Leo think Bosh is a shoe in for the all star game (which he is not)
And have diverted their attention to promoting a 12/8 point guard for the all star game. When he doesn't make it Chuck will be all up in arms. It's similar to Bosh's 2nd season where he didn't deserve to go and Chuck kept saying he did. The homer shtick is tiring.

BTW didn't we have a 14/8 PG last year? he helped turn the Raptors from bottom dweller to playoff team. There wasn't a peep of all star noise in regards to him... meh. Politics.

He's 3rd in scoring this month in the NBA with the likes of LBJ, Kobe, AI, Wade, and Melo all with similar numbers. To be in the same ppg area as those shooters is nuts!

should have traded him for Deng+ sefalosha and built around bargs
Appel:
Bargs will be an all-star while Bosh averages 10/6 in Miami

That doesnt really have alot to do with anything bacause really he was the captain since vc's trade and no one gave a f**k bout him till last year. It's cause he led the Raptors to the playoffs.

You should come to the Raptors chat room during game times, Contender is on his nuts over every possession big and small... haha

That point guard wasn't half the shooter last season that this point guard is this season. Of course, that point guard also looked like a much improved shooter this season, would've been interesting to see how things would have shaken out for him had everything worked out.
