6'10, 230.. if we are throwin players out there and are still gettin out rebounded then blame it on lack of athleticism you gotta throw baston in there.. he's tall, athletic, can hit the jumper if given and just can be the diamond in the dirt no point in buryin him deep bench.. sam probably knows best but i still wanna see what he has

maybe hes been a travesty in practice? There must be some reason that he hasnt gotten some PT. I mean, even Joey gets dusted off every now and again when Sam is in big need of some energy and rebounding. Maceo supposedly brings those things so its likly not a mistake if hes not seeing the court.

baston is crap and he isnt even a good rebounder. another failure from Colangelo.

He was garbage with whatever minutes he got in preseason and early in the year. He was supposed to be this crazy athlete, but I haven't seen it at all.

Maceo is smaller than Bosh.

He's not the answer, he's just a depth big.

we don't need an answer, im just tryna find a bright spot somewhere and i can't see the harm of him gettin some burn with the disappointing play of rasho and bargs lately

Maceo has not been impressive in practice hence everyone else get sthe nod before him. I think Rasho should have been given more burn. His boxing out skills would have helped fend off all the OT off rebounds by the wiz

I was dissapointed not to see Bargs get any action in the closing minutes. Not sure what the foul situation was, but we all know that he thrives under pressure and he's proven that to be a fact. The Italian league Championships, the playoffs, and what not. Get him in there late game situations, he gets the job done. Bosh was just gassed, playing 50 minutes was too much.

Last time I watched Baston he looked slower than Rasho.

all we need is an athletic guy with length (Maceo) who walks on the court with a briefcase boxes out, gets some length on a guy and goes to work

We tried starting him when we played Indiana. It didn't end too well and is mainly the reason why he isn't in the rotation. Hump is much better.

Baston is not the answer to any question I can come up with.

OK....
Maceo Baston isnt even that great of a rebounder.
In a career average of 8.1 mpg he averages 1.5 rpg....thats not that great. if you do the math thats a career average of 8.89 per 48 mins. If we are going to put in a scrub specifically for rebounding he better pull down more than 9 rebounds if he were to play an entire game!
