Point the finger at Colangelo

I know i am going to get flamed for this but it needs to be addressed.

Since the Oakley / Antonia Davis era this team has struggled with rebounding. We have lost more then our fair share of games over the past 5 years because we are getting out rebounded night in and night out.

Babcock failed to get Bosh some help and he got canned. Now Colangelo is going down the exact same path. Don't get me wrong we are dealing with two totally different gm's and Colangelo has taken us much further than any one of us would have expected in such a short period of time.

But when you see your allstar battling hard night in and night out and wearing down every night because he is constantly getting pushed around wouldn't you be doing whatever you can to help him out????

If he paid any attention to what happened in the past he knows that by seasons end Bosh will be beaten up and battered to the point that come playoff time he will have no gas left in the tank.

So instead of pointing your finger at Kapono, AP, Bargs and Rasho point it at the man who knows we have a problem and does nothing to fix it.

One game where we were destroyed on the glass. We're in the top half of the league in opposition offensive rebounds last time I checked which was pretty recently.

so he gets a 7 footer with the potential as big as the galaxy who is supposedly a lights out shooter who can stretch the defense just so bosh can get more room to operate and get the load off him.. he gets the best three point shooter in the league which also is supposed to stretch the defense and give bosh more room to operate while takin the load off chris.. has the best 1-2 combo at the pg spot who are just amazing at creating for others.. gets two vets in ap and rasho who provide leadership.. creates a gem outta nothing in jamario moon.. dude you gotta be kiddin me.. bc laid out everything for this squad.. all we need is execution.. this is the freakin nba..

I wouldn't mind getting Reggie Evans to help out Bosh on the boards.

Yeah, there is no trend whatsoever of us losing games on 2nd chance points :o :o

BC said he's banking on the "revolution" of the game in acquiring jumpshooters. That's his major flaw. That means if he could fill all positions with 3 point shooters, he would do it.

Kapono needs to go. He's overpaid and could probably fetch a servicable player like Kwame Brown, or that dude who killed us tonight, Andray Blatche.

I'm relatively new with posting and stuff, but I am starting to understand when experienced posters reply to threads like this one, with "Mod, please lock".

P.S. Mod, please lock.

We're 6th in the league in offensive rebounds against. We give up 0.1 more per game than Boston who is 5th.

We didn't lose the game tonight because of 2nd chance points. We lost because we have no offense.

You have to be joking--Kwame is arguably as bad as Bargs. Also, having the two worst #1 picks in the last 10 years probably wouldnt be good for team morale...

His Galactus-like 7 footer is a horrible C and bad value for a #1 overall.
The best 3 point shooter in the league has had little impact on our team, while getting paid the MLE.
1/2 of the PG duo was acquired by Babcock, and BC's half is constantly and seriously injured.
AP and Rasho were great last year, but are below average this year...and are still signed through next year.
Can't dispute Moon. I love that guy! Even if he can't shoot.

I think BC has done well for us, an made us respectable which is a huge accomplishment...and until the trade deadline passes I won't totally give up hope. But we certainly aren't looking like a contender in a few years any more.

I think it's valid criticism that the rather gaping hole in our roster centering (haha) around Bargs and our rebounding hasn't been solved during his short tenure. If the guy is such a genius, why hasn't he robbed someone like Elgin Baylor for Kaman??

There are two types of posts in this thread:

-Reasonable people telling you that one loss is not the end of the world in a season consisting of eighty-two games.

-And people telling you to stick extremities into orifices.

I'm siding with the former, and as such, I'm locking this. PM me with concerns.
