Bad losses this season
Which loss has been the most disappointing to you this season so far? Whether it be a game that the Raptors should have won or a game where the Raptors blew a big lead.
Let's find out.
If you have another game in mind, just put it in your post. Maybe I can add it to the poll afterwards.
EDIT: Only allowed 6 poll options? I have tonight's game on there, but it won't show. If you want to vote for tonight's game against the Wizards, just post it.

Heartbreaker, you got the best of me
But I just keep on coming back incessantly
Oh why, did you have to run your game on me
I should have known right from the start
You'd go and break my heart

We've had far less bad losses than most playoff teams. We're 17-3 against teams with losing records this year and 4 of the 'bad' losses on that board were to winning teams.
People are acting like anytime you lose a game that you think you should win it's the end of the world. Bad losses happen to every team. Don't get to high with the highs and to low with the lows.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

vs. Houston, 93-80.
vs. Dallas, 92-76.
at San Antonio, 83-73.
vs. Portland, 116-109 (Blazers were 17-1 prior to that game).
at Boston, 114-112.
Frankly, I think this thread is utterly worthless, but I'll allow a more senior mod to overrule me.
You can start "the best win" if you want, but don't trash on my thread and poll. We want fans to be able to express and voice their legit opinions on this board. It's not like I'm making a thread with outerly worthless opinions of my own.

Well the Mavs one was frustrating as hell, but Andrea I believe actually showed up that night and showed some flashes. Don't think he did anything in second half though.
The Cavs game was just terrible though. On our own home court as well.
It's pretty much a draw between the Sonics game and the Cavs game for me.

Look, DK, I'm being 100% honest. Your premise is that any loss to a 'bad' team is unacceptable, and we have had at most four (losing to the Mavs on their court or to a good Cavs team isn't a bad loss, regardless of our first half effort in either game). In my mind, you are striving for an impossible ideal; every team loses games which they should win...the good teams compensate by winning games in which they are perceived to have no chance. We have done so, and are poised for a run at home court in the first round.
But again, because I would hate for emotion to influence my modding, I'm acting solely as a poster here.

**** your asterisk.

Cleveland by far... Lebron just alpha maled our entire team and showed everybody who had the biggest balls on the floor... and which team had more *******......
Dallas was just funny to me, even before Dirk made those 100 threes in a row I knew we were going to collapse.. Thats more of a matchup situation.. still second worst loss..
This one is probably third after those two..
The Bucks one was early in the season, the Seattle and Philly were just trap games that every team loses to a celler-dweller, and in Portland we were kind of playing above our heads since Roy was killing us all night long and we couldn't establish our tempo...

Out of all the games, including this one, I'd order them like this
Washington -> Cleveland -> Seattle -> Philadelphia -> Portland -> Dallas -> Bucks
The 1st 5 are the ones that really irked me when they happened.
I was disappointed at the Mavs lost, but not so much and the Bucks loss was so early in the season it didn't matter so much to me.
Coming up small against direct playoff competition hurts alot, especially when we should have won the game in Cleveland with a sizeable lead at one point & Caron out.

If the Raptors are truly a young team on the rise, better effort needs to be shown out there.
I will gladly trade tonights loss with the win against Boston anyday of the week and year. Beat Wizards tonight, but lose to the Celtics last week. Anytime you lose games that you are supposed to win, those big wins in the past will only be seen as pure luck and aren't really legit.
You would agree that it doesn't make sense for a team to win games that they shouldn't win, but lose games that they should win right? That is totally the opposite of what a team on the rise is supposed to show. You must take care of the weaker teams and win the games when you have a good lead. Blowing leads (no matter what team) or losing games that you should have won is not a good indication of a team on the rise.

SO YOU JUST WANT EVERYBODY HERE TO BE EVEN ANGRIER AFTER THIS LOSE

YOUR THREAD DOESN'T HELP THIS BOARD BE BETTER, AND IT'S NOT THE RIGHT TIME TO POST SOMETHING LIKE THIS

Death:
There will always be a degree of uncertainty in the NBA. I guarantee that you cannot find a single team that does not have at least four games that they should have won, whether they be veteran, defending NBA champions, or up-and-comers. That is simply the nature of the sport.

Those same teams will still win 55+ games, while the Raptors will struggle to even win 45.
