A 7 foot tall man stands on a rectangular surface 94 feet long and 50 feet wide for 33 minutes. During that time a leather ball 9 inches in diameter falls from a height of 10-15 feet 74 times. What is the minimum number of times said man will find the ball in his possession just by sheer luck?

By luck? I'd say 7.

If luck was not a factor, I'd say once or twice, three times at most.

None. The man avoids the ball if luck were to bring it within proximity of the man.

Riddle:

When my first is a task to a young girl of spirit,
And my second confines her to finish the piece,
How hard is her fate! but how great is her merit
If by taking my whole she effects her release!

The answer: hem-lock!

Well, the second half, anyway.

There doesn't seem to be much discussion...PM me with any or all riddles. The answer is three.
