Seattle Times -
Jerome James, who has played in only two games this season for New York, has told the Seattle Times that he wants to be traded to a team where he can play in the final two years of a 5 year, $29 milllion contract given to him by Isiah Thomas and the Knicks.
"I'm hoping that either they use me or move me," James said. "I love Zeke [Thomas]. Zeke is by far my favorite coach. I had a great relationship with [Nate McMillan]. He's a great guy, but as far as relating to a guy, Zeke is by far my favorite coach. So I don't even want to go to him with this right now."
"I'm not trying to disrupt the team. I know I've been injured. ... I know he feels pressure to throw me out there, and I said, 'No, don't throw me out there. Don't change nothing.' I'm not looking to be moved right now. We can make a playoff push. But the summer is always there. Do it then. If they aren't going to use me, move me."
We do need a inside presence, although James only played max of 17 mins in a season in his career. Don't really know about his true game, so if anyone wanna fill me in that will be great.
Kapono for James anyone? Good/Bad idea ?
Thoughts ?

Honestly, even a scrub player u sign from the FA pool (lets say, some NBDL players) are substantially better than Jerome James,
not to mention his atrocious contract

Herve Villachaize would be a better low post addition than Jerome James. Or even a straight shot blocker like Verne Troyer.
Although I do love when complete scrubs demand trades because they're not playing. Reading that article about James this morning gave ma a good hearty belly laugh.

Just when I thought I'd seen it all on this board
After all, this was a man whose nickname is Big Snacks.
This is a man who once answered coach Nate McMillan's accusation of a selfish attitude by saying, "I don't even know what he is talking about, I just worry about Jerome."
This is a man who once fell asleep in a film session, then said he didn't really fall asleep, he just "nodded off."
This is a man who was late to practice one day when it snowed, saying he could not get out of his driveway. He drives a Hummer.
