Watching the game today and the guy is the most under rated player in the league IMO.

I wish there was some way we could have him on this team.

He is the tough slasher we are missing. I have no idea why the Cats would send him off for Nazr!!!

BC...If you are out there reading this, I beg you to get'er done! While his value is at an all time low.

Lets not forget the Argentinian connection...

I was expecting bigger things from him this yr for sure....

Hard to believe nobody had made a pitch for him, he was great last yr

Im watching the game too, I can help but see this guy on the raps next year, seems like a guy BC would be all over.

I'd take him to replace Garbo for sure, but that's all he's gonna be.

Yeah...His toughness and shooting range is quite similar to Garbo but he is a slasher too.

I read/heard somewhere that BC made a pitch for this guy in the offseason. Btw, that extension and palming on that finger roll looked like a throw back to the 70's/80's. I'd trade Humps for this guy...he looks like the hustle type with more offensive game and more athletic.

I think he's a good fit on this team for sure. The last International player who wasn't being used properly by Detroit seems to have worked out here. Like everyone else has said we don't really have a 3/4 combo since Garbo went down, so when we play small we're really small. Hermann is the kind of guy who we could play small with and not have too worry.

lol...That was simply a work of art...He drove to the basket as if there was no one was on his way to the basket and then on the next trip down the floor he showcased his range by draining a three.

haha, another end of bench scrub.

How does he make a big impact for us? We're just shuffling depth for (maybe) slightly better depth.

I don't encourage you follow basketball like I do. Take a look at his stats during the last 2 months of last year. Not exactly a couple of games.

I don't criticize you for not following basketball religiously like I do but if you are not doing that don't make statements that will make you look...you know...

Look it, I respect that you follow and love the game so much, but If his stats have been so good as you say, and you've been watching him so closely for the past while then he would not be so underrated now would he? Hes a nice player sure. But the Cats did not get ripped off whatsoever in that deal.

I am not entirely sure what happened from last season to the beginning of this season but he somehow ended up in Sam Vincent's dog house despite playing amazing basketball to end the season last year.

He was the reason why they were playing above .500 basketball..

the Nazr for Hermann deal was fair imo, both underused & underrated bench warmers

I think Hermann fits in to our team's philosophy of being a superb 3 point shooting team, but I think we should worry about improving our team's weaknesses rather than strengthening things we are already excellent at.

Again, Hermann was not a bench warmer at the end of last season. Do your due diligence before posting.

And to the other poster, Hermann is more of a tough slasher than a spot up shooter.

maybe you could send the Pistons a couple of second rounders for the Argentinian...
