Was anyone else impressed by the double teams on Wade? I know he isn't really trying and Kobe is the better player and the Lakers are a far better team but they looked far better than what we tried on Kobe. We actually kept resulting open shooters to a minimum.

It looked good because nobody else on the Heat can hit the side of a barn. With the Lakers, guys like Vujacic are having a great season behind the arc, so you leave them wide open at your peril. That, and the fact Kobe is much taller than Wade and can shoot over a double team if it isn't a really good one.

I hope last night's game put to rest any lingering thoughts on trading for Ricky Davis.

I know the Heat want to tank but they should really get Mike Miller for one of their expiring like Ricky Davis. Even if they bench him to finish the year, next season if they want to contend again they are going to need some shooters. Or we should make sure that we really need Kapono, if not sump him for an expiring and a low pick.

I wouldnt mind pickup up Davis for something Cheap, his value is at an all time low, expiring contract, has proving he is a more than capable player, with a couple 20 5 and 5 seasons.

I just think that whole team is streuggling everyone id having career worst season, i think if we could get home fpr cheap, he wouldnt hurt our SF position

I may be wrong, and I don't have the time to look it up, but I don't think Ricky Davis has ever been on a winning team.

And that is not surprising.

He is one of many players with tons of talent, but no idea how to actually play the game of team basketball.

I'm not a fan of Ricky Davis... This is a huge part why and exposed him as the type of guy he is...
