i think the zooming in is to show Kapono's shooting technique, the way he squares up and follows through, so smooth to watch...and zooming out to see the ball go in one after the another....Pono' ftw!...the only way Kobe will beat Kapono is if Kobe starts shooting his threes fading away hahahahaha, he seems to make that shot most of the time

im guessing he missed only one shot, judging by the players reaction after he missed that on on the last rack. wow i wish we set up more plays for him, hes LIGHTS OUT!

Not to derail this because I know that shooting practice and game situations are totally independent of one another, but I can't help but wonder why Sam and the staff can't set this guy up for at least 15 points a night.
I wish we'd use him more like a weapon, I really do.

Totally what i was thinking. I have a feeling that Kapono is going to be money now with TJ back. Kapono needs some burn with the starters and just set and shoot every time.

that was just amazing.
1 missed out of the 5 racks. I can't wait to see him own the competition again this year.

Do I think Kapono is a weapon?
Yes.
Do I think BC grossly over paid for a(nother) shooter?
Yes.
Smitch wants D, and that is why I think he is a bit hesitant to play 'Pono for extended minutes.
Unless Kapono just starts exploding into flames like he did in the Pacer game.

If he only missed one shot, then that is sick, but not all too surprising.
A LOT of guys in the L can shoot lights out when they are on the practice floor and in repetition form... even scrub players.
I remember years ago one of my buddies told me he got to practice with Shawn Respert (.340 career 3pt shooter) and how Respert could drop 15-20 straight 3's like it was nothing.
DeShawn Stevenson went like 70/100 in the battle with Gilbert... DeShawn fri66in Stevenson.
Not trying to take anything away from Kapono, just saying that its not all that surprising that he would go 24/25.
