The Raptors all-time 'No Show' team

here is an interesting article I would like to share with you guys. Especially for those that are new Raptor fans. Got this from TSN.
The Raptors have always had a difficult time convincing NBA players to come to Toronto - even when they've traded for them. Every team has its share of player holdouts, but how many can field an entire lineup?
Point Guard: BJ Armstrong (1995)
Armstrong was selected from the Chicago Bulls with the first overall pick in the 1995 Expansion Draft. Armstrong refused to report for training camp and the Raps eventually sent him to the Golden State Warriors for Carlos Rogers and Victor Alexander
Shooting Guard: Kenny Anderson (1998)
The Raptors acquired Anderson, Alvin Williams and Gary Trent from the Portland Trail Blazers in the Damon Stoudamire deal. Anderson refused to report to Toronto, so just five days later he was shipped to Boston with Zan Tabak and Popeye Jones for Chauncey Billups, Dee Brown, Roy Rogers and John

WTF ? this has nothing to do with the grizzlies. Would you stop saying that. This is just a list of guys that never suited up for raps. Its an interesting article. I never knew that guy (HERB WILLIAMS) only played 1 game for us.. This is one of the reasons why BC went to Europe to sign free agents and draft picks. A lot of the African - American players dont like playing in CANADA>

It's cuz Canada ain't gangsta enough for 'em

I agree wholeheartedly. That's why Vancouver moved to Memphis. It was hard enough getting players to come to TO, let alone West Coast Canada!
Heck, we couldn't even get drafted players with guaranteed contracts to go there!

That's why he goes on the ignore. This thread made no sense until I figured he was the one who started it!

Threads like these are the reason why I blocked that clown forever ago.

I dont see anything wrong with this post. It's from a TSN article. He just pointed out an article. What's wrong with everyone on this board?

Give the guy a break. I actually enjoyed reading that. And it's a TSN article for crying outloud... the only thing the guy did was post it for everyone to read.

Enough with the Vancouver Grizzlies leaving Canada.
We get it already.

Is any discussion of the article possible? Going once, going twice...

There are three topics that could be discussed in this thread:
1) The official topic, re: the all no-show team from the TSN article.
Not sure how far it'll go. You've got Hakeem, which has been discussed at length and is old news. You've got Zo, which has been beaten to death and most people are bitter about. Then you have a bunch of Nobody McNothings.
2) The unofficial adopted subject, re: "let's all pile on James699!"
This clearly is not a good direction to go in.
3) Random Topics.
For example, posting pictures of manatees, or quoting lude poetry.
Of the three topics, the last one seems to be the only way to improve this thread. Therefore, in conclusion, if you were leaning towards locking the thread, I'd concur.

Sold, to the man with the excessively long scarf!
If anyone wishes to revive the discussion (on the TSN article, not James699's character), send me a PM. If you instead want to discuss manatees, send me a PM complete with a self-addressed, stamped envelope, and you too can be an official member of the Manatee of the Month Club!

I think Manatees are overrated.
