Anyone notice how terrible the new guy (I think his name is Barry Vedder) is? He knows nothing about basketball, how the [bleep] did he get that job?

This show is horrible is general. Everyone pisses me off especially the producer thats asking questions. And that Mohammed guy, knows nothing about basketball.

I love how they have a bunch of randoms running the show -- including the random host.

If it weren't for the random female producer, I would have switched channels right away.

Who are these guys?

I don't even know where Darren works or who he writes for, but he's alright I guess.

On this panel, he's a star.

The other two, Mohammed (who is he?) and Barry are awful. Are these guys even basketball broadcasters or writers or anything? Do they know anything about the NBA?

Where is Jack Armstrong? Where is Leo Rautins? Eric Smith? Paul Jones? Sherman Hamilton? Doug Smith? Heck, I'd even take Dave Feschuk.

This show is so bad. I miss the old show with Norma Wick hosting. It was more like a panel show like Off the Record or something.

Full Court Press used to be a show I would enjoy watching weekly.... Now once that I saw Norma left and we had this 'new and improved' format, I do not bother to watch it, maybe tuning in once in awhile when I am bored and nothing is on... But like tonights and when you have these 3 guests, I would rather watch an episode of Off The Record with good ol' Landsberg than this crap.

She was let go.... Not sure the exact reasons as to why, remember hearing her contract was up and there were budget cuts, but who knows...

raptors tv can't produce a show to save their life.

The only decent show is double dribble with Eric Smith and Paul Jones, too bad it's competing against PTI.

cant stand that dan gladman guy he is annoying as $hit! i dont think leo likes him either cause they always trade jabs the whole time when leo is on the panel. i think it got so bad they had to get some different guys this week. it was pretty unprofessional. to be honest i thought norma was annoying but this dan guy is the worst, i mean he isnt even on the panel. jack seems to snub him to but he doesnt get into the jabs, he is more classy then that. it actaully was one of the only decent shows on the channel other then raptors today which is only watchable strictly for interviews. i dont mind sherm tho. dan gladman and paul johnson should get the hook.

cannot stand the guy. i dont like the guy at all even the tone of his voice annoys me. the dougler wont even come back to the panel due to the fact norma is gone. he said she was treated unfairly, if i recall.

Agreed. The two shows I used to watch on RapsTV was Double Dribble and Full Court Press back when it Doug Smith called it "The Norma Wick Funtime Hour".

Now Norma's gone and Full Court Press has been remade in Gladman's personal style, i.e. garbage.

The only problem I have with Double Dribble, is that Jones and Smith are often absent (on the road with the team), so they get replaced by this guy:



... and sometimes Sherm who laughs at the guy pictured above.

I agree that this show sucks now compared to the old format. Gladman is a goof and some of these panelists are plain ****ing horrible.

I think his name is Barry Taylor. He's the weekend and nights guy on The Edge 102.1FM. He's actually a really good on-air DJ for radio.

But yeah, the show is brutal. Just brutal.

If Double Dribble is the highlight of a channel, they're in big trouble. Nothing against Eric and Paul, but on any other channel, that would be the lowlight, rather than the highlight.

i can barely stand to watch this channel. do we need an hour pre-game and hour-post game show for every game? playoffs, okay...but not all 82 games...

and these shows like full court press...well, i'll be honest, i haven't watch a full one this year, that's how stupid they are. they've clearly lost all interest in producing a quality product...i'd be happy if they scrapped all of these in-house productions and just played more classic games and nba TV content...

they are an embarrassment...
