Raptors like Andre Iguodala (NOT)

In recent days, I have asked people in a position to know about speculation of interest from Phoenix and Toronto in Andre Iguodala and interest from Cleveland in Gordan Giricek. In each case, I have been told there is nothing there.
From Hoopshype.
Title edited for clarity.

I don't think the thread title is misleading at all.

LOL how is it misleading what's the difference between this speculation and the one titled "Raptors like Mike Miller" both aren't going to happen, but maybe people wanted to discuss what it would take to acquire him.

Iggy has been bandied about since the day we drafted Hoffa.

AI would most likely require Bargnani and/or one of the 2 PGs.

Yeah man, If Daly is coming back then we can talk, but a PG and AB for Iggy? No way....

Yep, the only reason we wouldn't be interested is because his asking price is probably too high. He's Philly's only hope, and I think they'd much rather overpay to keep him (he is not a max player imo, but that's what it's likely going to cost Philly to keep him), than trade him for anybody whose status is short of "saviour".

At this point Sixers, who I assume isn't rebuilding or being sold, view him as their franchise player. That pretty much rules out getting anything less than 95 cents to the dollar.
I can understand the Raps interest. AI is an athletic slasher lacking in da SMitch arsenal. Exorcising the demons of Hoffa is probably part of it too.
