Kaman vs. Bargs

Post#1 » by DarkKnight » Fri Feb 8, 2008 9:40 pm

Want to get a feel for who they think will have the better game tonight...the inside bruiser, Chris Kaman, or the outside sharpshooter, Andrea Bargnani.

Edit: Can't seem to change the spelling to "impact"...oh well.

I'm gonna say Bargs :) Because I'm keeping the faith! Plus he's been playing real well lately.

If he doesn't get into early foul trouble, he should do fine given the way he's been playing lately.

yeah, pretty much. kaman's low post game is vicious though. this should be a good test for his post d that most of us fans feel is, at worst, average.

Bargnani has been playing really well lately so I'll go with him.

I like Kaman but I am hoping he has an off night.

I can see two quick fouls for Bargs, but I guess I should at least say there's a 50/50 chance he'll outscore Kaman.

Never mind two, I'd be absolutely shocked if he could put up those numbers in even one of those categories (assuming they're the classic big man categories of pts/boards/blocks, and not points/boards/assists, cause there is a decent possibility of 4 assists).
Anyways, I say 14 points, 4 boards, 0 blocks for Bargs, and 18 points, 15 boards, 2 blocks for Kaman, so my vote easily goes to Kaman.

It'll suck if their not matched up with each other (at least in terms of evaluating), but I'll be at the game so I'll try to post a review when I get back.

Both will probably have big games. Kaman will likely outrebound the Raps, and Bargnani will outscore him.

Kaman 14 pts 16 boards 2 blocks
Bargnani 18 pts 6 boards 4 assists

PS. Thank you for not turning this into a Kaman > Bargnani, I wish we got Kaman instead of Bargnani thread. (There is an age AND draft difference but every other thread tends to go down that sad road)
