Stastical review of Toronto's bench
Posted: Sun Feb 10, 2008 2:44 pm
As of today, Toronto's bench is:
- 5th in minutes played (89 total minutes played per game)
- 5th in points scored (33.8 points per game)
- 5th in assists (7.7 assists per game)
- 7th in rebounds (14.4 rebounds per game)
- 11th in steals (2.6 steals per game)
- 16th in turnovers (4.3 turnovers per game)
- 12th in FG% (.440 shooting)
- 1st in 3FG% (.413 shooting)
- 26th in FTA (8.1 FTA per game)
- 30th in blocks (0.9 block per game)
Overall, we have the 6th best bench, as indicated by the overall efficiency differential.
As you can see, the strenghts and weaknesses are there for all to see. We have no inside presence, as demonstrated by our weak numbers in blocks and FTA, but we compensate it by strong 3FG%, points and assists, i.e. we move the ball well and shoot the open three. With TJ back and gaining strength, I expect the numbers to go up even further.
