Who is our best defender?

I have been thinking about this for a while now, and there are a couple of options here. Rasho is obviously a good defender, Moon is a good defender, Delfino is a good defender as is Parker.
The question here is who is the best? Who brings the most defensively for our team?

Rasho, is the best underrated defender. Big Body. who rebounds and loves to alter shots and alter people when they drive at him.
Delfino and Parker so far got their defense overrated, or that they took a dip. Anyways its no longer there.
Moon aint really a defender, he is just a shot blocker. Chris Bosh lite, bad defense good shotblocker.

To be frank, we really don't have a good defender. Our defense sometimes looks good when other teams settle for jump shots, but that doesn't mean that it is good.

We all have average defenders on our team. Out of this group, I would say T.J. Ford, b/c he can really bother offensive players with his quickness, denying penetration, and he has the ability to get in the passing lanes. Not to mention, when he wants to, he can play some mean man-to-man defence.

Are you actually saying that Bosh is our best defender?

Rasho.
Delfino and Parker aren't bad.
Moon isn't that good of a defender. He has decent instincts for blocks and steals, mainly due to his length and jumping ability... but his man-to-man defence and help defence aren't that good.

Rasho. Dude is our only hope against the heavy big men in the league.

No, I'm saying it's unfair to criticize him for not being able to stay in front of Thornton.

Agreed. I blame Sam for not realizing the mis-match, rookie or not.

Right, it wasn't Bosh's fault when he didn't play him for the drive
to the right which is one of Thornton's only offensive moves which he had already done several times. He played him too close, and basically gave away drives to the rim. It's not like he doesn't have the athleticism to stay in front of players like that, it's that his defense isn't that great.

I'd argue our best man to man defender is Bargnani, if only for the fact that he tends to guard 5's and has a significant footspeed advantage. Help defense is another thing, but man to man he's solid. Rasho is probably still a little better but they are quite similar in the way they avoid biting on pumpfakes.
Our best help defender is Jamario of course. I still think Delfino is our best on the perimeter. He seems to bother alot of ballhandlers by keeping his arms active.
