Bob McCowan: "I'd do Kaman for Bargnani"
Doug Smith was on the Fan590 with McCowan and Stephen Brunt and they were surprisingly discussing about the Toronto Raptors,Bargs and the upcoming trade deadline. Smith talked about how BC is in the trade market looking for a "about 6'9 bruising, rebounding SF who could guard the Pierce's and the James's" while this Douchebag Bobcat randomly suggests that BC should trade Bargs for Kaman. Like who wouldn't at the moment but do you really think the Clipps will accept that offer at this time. Smith responds with saying how Kaman has been given 4 years to develop in this league and has been producing this year and why people like McCowan wont give Bargs 4 years too. Well it was a funny convo anyone know if they could post it?

Its so contradicting for me, I get frustrated either way, Bobcat cant win in regards to basketball....
When Bobcat talks basketball I want to tell him to sharrrrup, cause he knows nothing.. and frustrates me. BUT, when I turn on the tv or radio and all they talk about is hockey, or anything else remotely close to a sport not named basketball.. I get mad and want to shoot myself cause they ignore discussion about my favourite sport.

Yeah cuz the last game he was so ... never mind!
Thats real hard to do agenst the worst NBA team. Talk to me when he does that agenst the best of the best
How many 20-20 games has Bargnani had? 0! Kaman has like 3 of them alone. The guy is a great rebounder and aside from Howard would be the best C in the East.
I love Bargnani's game don't get me wrong. I am one of those who would love to keep him but as it is now Kaman>>Bargnani.

Holy hell:
Chris Kaman - 25 years old Drafted 2003
16.7 PPG 13.6 RPG 2.0 APG
Andrea Bargnani - 22 years old Drafted 2006
10.1 PPG 3.7 RPG 1.1 APG
Of course I do that deal....if Andrea was in his 5th season and was the same age as Kaman.
Career numbers:
Chris Kaman 10.2 PPG 8.2 RPG 1.2 APG
Andrea Bargnani 11.0 PPG 3.8 RPG 0.9 APG
Kaman is having one hell of a year on the glass but Bargnani is younger, came into the league as a project player and Bargnani's career numbers (rebounding aside) are pretty much identical despite only just recently starting to turn his game back around after a very troubled first half.

So if I have you correctly, if Bargnani had come out this year and we had picked him #3, then you would be comfortable giving him time to develop - but because he was drafted LAST year, you won't do that.
Right?
Same player, yet in one case you would give him a few years, while in the other case you want results right away?
