Knowing this board, this has already been posted, and lock if it has... But this **** is funny... Bill Walton with his exaggerated criticism, and Shaq with his comeback... I agree with Shaq although I love Bill Walton for always creating some entertainment....

Agree with Shaq, he's been under so much criticism which I dont think he deserves. Who the one who sign's him to such a big contract, who makes the trades for him? Is it his fault he was put in this position? If he made 4 mil a year would their have been this debate? Walton could talk all he wants, he dosent have the credentials to talk down to shaq.

All I can say is WOW! SHAQ is bringing the guns out early! With that said I agree with him. He is one of the most under valued and under appreciated guys in NBA history IMO. He has only one the MVP trophy once in his career which is complete ludacris considering were talkin about arguably the most dominant player to ever play the game.

Shaq has got a fire in him and this trade might actually work. Can`t wait to see him play!

Honestly, Shaq deserves some respect from those so-called sports analysts, and Walton definitely went too far on criticizing Shaq's injury. At shaq's age, most big men have minor injury issues throughout the season. If he stayed in Miami, there is no point for him to play through his injuries since obviously, Miami is not going anywhere this season. On the other hand, now he is playing for the Suns. Playing through some minor injuries is acceptable since it is important to build team chemistry on the court. I don't know what Walton is criticizing about... Shaq is a much more dominant player than Walton himself in NBA. He should keep quiet, especially on injury issues.

if shaq did in fact say he couldn't play in miami anymore then he is the hypocrite. that being said, i'm rooting for phoenix.

I though the point Walton was trying to make was about Shaq saying he is unable physically to play for Miami but yet fit and ready to win with Pheonix. How is that posible unless Shaq was faking injury or is ready to play through injury for the Suns?

that's how I look at it too. Maybe the way he just presented it made it look like an insult.

Shaq's right! Hurt or not, what's Shaq supposed to say to the Suns media after they traded Marion (a very good player) for him? I hope i can contribute because of my injuries or we're gonna win a championship? I'm sure Kerr would rather hear some championship talk, he put his neck on the line with this trade. Shaq is trying to be positive with his comments not arrogant.

Both Shaq and Bill are lame and stupid. Neither should ever talk again.

its going to be a sad day for nba fans when Shaq retires. Like him or not the man has charisma. Quite possibly the most dominant/entertaining player post Jordan.

i agree wtih Shaq, but Bill Walton's paid to make a scene so its not too unexpected.

Do injuries not heal? He is still out and hasnt played for Pheonix either..... When he is ready, he will return, regardless of the uniform.

No one questioned his injuries when Wade was carrying the load in the reg season and Shaq saved his body for a playoff run and they won the championship in Miami.

And the last time Shaq spoke at a new conference like this he won a ring... so I wouldnt be so quick to put him down.

Bill is right. Shaq replied with something completely irrelevant.

I am glad that somebody bitch slapped Walton in public. He contributes nothing of value. I think he smoked up a bit too much during playing days.

How pissed can you really be in all honestly. He came in and won a championship for miami. Then after the season they ditched all of the help.
