Now that the fire sale in Jersey has started with the departure of Jason Kidd. If you can get Vince Carter for nothing other than expiring deals and draft picks do you?

After watching some of the old Raptors video's with Carter scoring a career high of 51. I've come to realize he's exactly what this team is missing, a slashing create of the dibble guard. We've always known were one star away... is Vince Carter that star?

Scouting Report
Vince Carter still has some game and when has a fire lit show's flashes of Jordanish performance in game time. The only thing that's stopping him from going to the next level is his ego.

We would have a sick starting five and exciting line-up:

We don't have expiring contracts for such a deal...the best we could offer is contracts that expire next season, and our middle-round 1st. Given the sad fate of the last 'trade for Carter?' thread two or three hours ago, I'm going to lock this...if anyone wants to actually discuss the subject (rather than the various items typically found in a convenience store that you would give up for Carter), PM me and I will unlock it.
