Hi all,

Came across this .pdf where coach Vitucci explains some of the drills they used to develop Bargnani's offensive game when he was playing in Italy. You can see that the lowpost drills are very basic compared to the face up/perimeter drills. Anyway, just thought I would share, you can download/open the file from the bottom.

Foud this from http://coachingbetterbball.blogspot.com/, great X's & O's blog, with some things about the Raptors also.

For now it is not that good for us, as we could really use an interior presence to complement Bosh, but you know what, this doesn't really seem like the wrong strategy. Bargnani is always going to be a tall, lanky 7-footer. I think that he has the potential to get considerably stronger, but we aren't going to see a young-Shaq to old-Shaq weight change. So for Andrea to become a complete player, it would make more sense to focus on your strengths. Right now he has a lot of speed/mobility for a big man. So by developing his shot, it allows him to attack the basket on drives. As he gets older, he will add more strength, become a little more sedentary and he will have to rely on post-up moves a little more.
