Jose takes high road on Arenas comment

The latest entry from his blog:

"These days, many people ask me about Gilbert Arenas' comments about me on his nba.com blog. I do not want to give it much importance, because it is difficult to be liked by everyone. It is certain that many times the All-Star selection disputes the players because of their name or that they can offer more of a spectacle than another. In this aspect, he is right. He is a good player and I never had a problem with him. It is his opinion and I respect it, although, evidently I do not share it with him. We beat them the last time that we played against them and I expect that it will continue this way in the future."

Euro's are just more sophisticated in their ways. No trash talk, no bragging but just smooth and relaxed.

Could this be a new rivalry in the making?

Two top eastern conference guards going against each other.. If it really heats up, Look for the NBA to capitalize on it.. I hope this rivalry becomes a HUGE thing.. the Underdog vs the hands-down-faorite..

I LIKE IT!

:P

On a side-note, Jose needs someone new to do his website. Who ever heard of a blog being released as .pdf files?

The rest arrives. Hardly any time is left. We have a few free days after our game against New Jersey. I would have liked to play in the All-Star game, but I must look at it from the positive side; I will not have practice or airplanes for the next four days.

jose doesnt like practicising!!!!

Don't see that happening, ever.

But good comments by Jose. Took a little jab or two at him while still maintaining some class n such.

Arenas was trying to inject a little heat between Jose and TJ by calling Jose a backup. Since he's unable to contribute to the Wizards on the court he's doing it on the web. It's not like he's got anything else to do anyway. It's ridiculous how some fans and media take his opinion as if he's an actual NBA analyst.

i thought by pressing the "T" icon on the top menu can allow me to cut and paste. but this one wont let me copy, if anyone's got info on this i would appreciate it. would be good for cutting/pasting quotes for papers.

Not all PDF's are un-copy-able. This one, however, is. This specific PDF file is password encrypted, therefore, making it un-copy-able.

Good for Jose, stepping up his game both on the court and off.

Arenas is an unbelievable talent but his outlandish comments are off-the wall. He's like that kid who never got hugged as a child and now that he's made it, he feels like rubbing his piece in your ear.

Shoot, if it helps motivate him than thats great, its good to see that kind of perseverance. But his "attention-whore" status is becoming alarmingly nauseating. He's injured and is probably turned off that the spotlight is fading away from him, even moreso with his team's success in the first half without him.

It's okay Gilbert, it's okay..."virtual hug"

Jose has no reason to worry about Gils' comments. In the end, Jose's career will surpass Gils on so many different levels. Good on Jose, Gil is so overated its funny!
