OT: Curry an option for Miami?

Hmm, trade for Marion, find success by letting him and Wade run like hell, then trade for Curry? Makes sense to me!!

It'd make sense IMO.
Curry for Jason Williams or something like that of an expiring deal.
Curry, Marion, Wade and build from there.

Curry and Mark Blount will create one of the worst rebounding front lines in the history of sport.

Marion is a product of the Phoenix system, it's unfair to expect similar impact numbers from him in Miami. He's a guy who can't really create his own shot and won't be having 11-15FG type games because a) Miami sucks and b) he'll be one of the focal points of the defense.
I think he has more defensive value than anything.
As for Curry being Riley's next big man project and succeeding Jabaar, Ewing, Mourning and Shaq, the one big difference between Curry and those guys is that Curry is allergic to rebounding and defense. Unfortunately nobody can really teach you how to rebound, it's got to come from within and I'm sure Riley realizes this will never take a chance on a soft big man that has a long way to go before he calls himself an average defensive center.

The usual caveat: it is Sam Smith, and no trade he has ever speculated upon has come to pass. He seems to revel in square peg/round hole deals, and trading an overweight, lazy, low-IQ player to a coach that runs his players into the ground, stresses intelligence, and wants to play up-tempo...that's a Sam Smith masterpiece.

Marion was putting up numbers before D'Antoni's system and Nash. I'm sorry but I'm tired of people disrespecting what the guy did. He was not the product of any system, he was a main reason why their system worked. He was the focal point of the defense before and still got his points, rebounds, blocks and steals. The guy is good, no questions asked
