Too much Rod Benson: Toronto free agent camp

Rod Benson - summer league invitee and a notable blogger, talks about his first experiences in Toronto's free-agent camp.

I got up for day one of the Toronto free agent camp just in time to catch breakfast in the hotel restaurant. I mention this because when I got down there, the first thing I looked for was Canadian bacon. I felt that if I was in Canada, they should have Canadian bacon and no other breakfast meats.

Seems like a cool kid. I wouldn't mind having him on board, some people are huge douches in the comments on his blog, though. Especially the Mbenga comment.

"I determined right then that if I was Canadian, I'd have an excellent shot at making the national team. Unfortunately, I am from the U.S. and I don't think I'm gonna beat out Carlos Boozer and Dwight Howard for a spot. "

If Bart and Milhouse can make it to the Canadian National team, and be centers at that, I suppose his assumption is correct.

I'm still pulling for a Pooh Jeter signing. It's a shame he isn't Chinese or we could've had a jersey with Pooh on the back.

Or a pair of game worn drawers - those would probably have some Pooh on the back too.
