Sign McDyess, Trade Bargs for GWallace?
I'm not sure if this is financially feasible, but I think we'd have a great team if we followed through with it.
First, we'd have to sign McDyess who has just been bought out by the nuggets. Then, trade Bargnani for Gerald Wallace. We'd lose Bargnani, but personally I don't think he can become a good player for the Raps - he needs more minutes on a bad team to develop. If the Bobcats are considering a player like Eddy Curry, I'm sure they'd bite with Bargnani. I doubt it will happen because Colangelo would look bad, but the team would be great. Imagine a front line of calderon, parker, wallace, bosh, o'neil. The options are incredible. We'd have 4 almost allstars/allstars. It would be a nightmare for most teams and acquiring wallace would give us a huge athletic boost when faced against teams like philly and atlanta.
What do you guys think?

First of all, we're $1,100 away from the luxury tax and secondly, the Bobcats would hang up the phone if BC offered that trade. Also the contracts don't match.

You have to add player who is who has a contract of 3 mil to ballance the trade. or you can ad a player like kapnono and get 2 mil cap space back from bobcats

That would put us over luxury tax, and they won't go over.
Secondly, Bobcats aren't that stupid...

First, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salary_cap.
Second, even if for some reason the league changed the parameters of trading/signing regulations, do you really think McDyess would come to Toronto? Last I heard he said he'd rather retire than play somewhere that's not Detroit.

i hate how ppl assume that just cause it makes sense for us...the trade will go down...it has to work out and benefit both teams to make sense!

I think the Bobcats, who don't have an offensive frontcourt player, might fall all over themselves for that deal. If they like Fat Eddy with his big contract, they'd love a mobile seven footer who can score. Moreover, I'm shocked at how dim so of you are. After all these years, you can't smell a team with financial issues looking to get out from under a BIG, FAT, STUPID CONTRACT they never should have signed? I don't believe BC would do it, not that he wouldn't trade Bargnani but not for a deal that removes a big chunk of his cap flexibility for a player who might not make that much difference, doesn't really fit our style, and is injured frequently and is about on the par with TJ Ford as a long-term career ending injury risk.
2019 will never be forgotten because FLAGS FLY FOREVER

from someone who has recieved 3 seperate concussions before the age of 20, unless he has some serious post-concussion syndrome, which from his play this season, i do not see being feasable, then i'm not so worried about his injury concerns.
sprained finger here, twisted ankle there, all directly from how hard the man plays.
